True Homes NEGLECTED to properly inform me of this problem until it was too late. Now I am in discussions with my sales person and builder to try and have them fix the problem. So, with all that said, guess we will still be looking into the steel frame built homes. You have every right to have any builder/factory issues repaired in the first 12 months. Write a letter and send it to the dealership certified mail. In the letter state that you will be reporting their failure to repair to the state agency and to the national HUD office.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. I buy direct from the manufacturer so I get a discount for that relative to buying from a retail dealer. Trouble is, they are so backlogged I can’t get any right now and they’re not accepting orders for 2023 yet. Curious if anyone else has had Tru homes for a few years and can comment on the quality. When changing the windows of your mobile home, it is important to properly measure them out and get the exact size as... It feels surprisingly big and airy for such a tiny living space.
Mobile Homes for Sale in Prague, OK
It has been 3 weeks since we moved in and the yard looks awful. I went to the sales office and they said they would repair the... I don't think that anyone cares what size house goes on what lot, truthfully. I have a friend building in the same development, and they were sold a lot that their house didn't fit onto and were forced to move to a different lot . Overall, I'm very disappointed with the process so far but am hopeful that the problems will be recitified.

An Overview Of The Best And Worst Manufactured Homes
Earlier this week I wrote about improper installation being a huge reason for homeowner issues and manufactured home complaints in ‘The Ultimate Manufactured Home Installation and Setup Guide‘. We purchased and built a home through True Homes in the fall of 2012. While we have little complaints on the actual home so far , but our complaint , where we do have MAJOR COMPLAINTS is in regards to the poor drainage we are now left to deal with. When in reality, there is nothing they are WILLING to do. We also offered to sign a document saying that after they dug the proper drainage they would not be responsible for any repercussions of the drainage.

That’s a really good question that I have never been asked before. I’m no professional but I don’t think you can. Plus, with each chassis built specifically for the model a chassis would only work on another home just like yours so it would probably only be worth whatever scrap metal is going for. Most manufactured homeowners would be happy with their homes if they’d stop trying to compare them to a site-built house.
Are Tru Mobile Homes Any Good

I can see using cost efficient materials, but at least install it with some skill and craftsmanship. Articles all over the internet are written about the poor after-sale service of track home builders and contractors. When it comes to building homes they all love to build them but hate to repair them, even if the repair is due to their own negligence. If you’ve ever watched Holmes on Homes or spoken to a home inspector you probably know how terrible site-built home construction can be.

Another one of the most popular brands in the manufactured housing industry. We had to include at least one Commodore manufactured home. The award-winning Astro comes from their Pennsylvania division. It won the 2017 Manufactured Housing Institute award for Manufactured Home Design in the Single-Section category.
Why is it that none of the manufactured home communities are available for adults under the age of 55? It’s infuriating that young adults are left with zero affordable options. The TRU series by Clayton Homes is one of the most affordable on the market.
The other reviews concerned me but praise the lord I haven't had their experiences. I lived in a regular stick built home before this one and have been more than pleased with my purchase. Pray that you don't live in a neighborhood that True Homes takes over.

It’s one of the things that keep a lot of people from considering them as a housing option so I feel it necessary to confront the issue head-on. What are the different sizes of mobile homes? Mobile homes can come in single-wide or double-wide. Single-wides are 18 feet (5.5 m) or less in width and 90 feet or less in length and can be towed to their site as a single unit. Double-wides are 20 feet (6.1 m) or wider, and are 90 feet in length or less, and are towed to their site in two separate units, which are then joined together.
The owner of a mobile home generally, only owns the home and not the land on which it resides. I would buy a house made by truhomes, although the sales team can make buying a house a PITA. Their houses are well made, although I don't care for the materials used in the construction of newer homes.

We have a TrueHome and everything here rings true. If you buy a TrueHome in or near Charlotte in a $120K-$150K subdivision you will be in the ghetto. Lots of disrespectful renters and every other dog on your street will be a Pit Bull. Save yourself some grief and look carefully at what you are getting. Be sure to drive by in the evening when activity picks up.
